We welcome back the gorgeous Sara Swanson trading as Argentum Design who will be selling dopamine jewellery and homewares which are all lovingly handmade.

Sara started her business 16 years ago and was a traditional silver and gold jeweller. She studied fine art and ceramics at university and colour and pattern design was always a big part of Sara’s work. After a few years Sara wasn't enjoying metal as much as she once did. Sara has always felt that if you don't love what you do it shows in your work so she went back to a medium she discovered when she was a teenager, polymer clay! Immediately she was able to produce bright, wild patterns which could be made in any colour! Sara mixes her own colours and designs all of her own patterns, everything customers buy is entirely handmade.

The following year Sarah underwent a summer of Radiotherapy, which was very draining but successful.
Covid came along and rocked everybody's world, however, it provided Sarah with an opportunity to start a new little business, initially as a hobby, making wax melts for herself and to gift to friends and family. Sarah then extended the range to eBay and Etsy. Today, The Little Melt Boutique has over 100 different scents and have added Shower & Bath Products to its inventory.

When starting her business Nicola (founder) began with RESEARCH, and lots of it! She knew that she needed to create something special that not only meant something to her and catered to her hunger for creation, but also sang to her heart and personal beliefs and ethos. Nicola spent years studying the intricacy of aromatherapy, observing nature, the world outside and the world within.

When she finally began to create her products, she painstakingly, through trial and error developed her own unique blend of scents, applying them to the range. Nicola wanted everything to be exactly as she had envisioned, making sure to ethically source every piece of ingredient and material used. Throughout her journey, Nicola has never stopped learning, creating and enjoying her craft. Every step of the way has been its own little challenge, but each new thing she learns is something else she can offer the world, be it a simple candle made with ethically sourced pure essential oils or a new blend of scent for room sprays or diffusers that aren’t full of nasty chemicals.

Winter walks bring on a different kind of magic. Natures palette never fails to inspire. We are now going into our third winter here as Happy Valley & one thing I’ve learnt is to allow myself to slow down through the winter months just like the landscape that surrounds. This is a contrast to the rest of the year when it seems to never stop. Adapting to this change can be tricky but required for growth.

Safe to say we weren’t blessed with the weather but in true Norfolk style we soldiered on and Tribe Norfolk was definitely blessed with some of the finest folk of Nor. What a magical little event!

Suzanne kept families entertained for hours enchanting everyone who came near. She’s an absolute joy - full of positive energy and hugely appreciated by all. We saw so many people getting involved, grand parents included. One guest commented “I have tried for 35 years and never been able to hula hoop until this weekend. Suzanne was so empowering and after just 10 minutes I was hula hooping”. We’re not surprised and knew as soon as we saw her she was special. Suzanne is also a fabulous photographer and you can see her pics here.

Wellbeing By The Sea

Marie lovingly welcomed families into the island and gave free sessions of yoga and mindfulness. Lazy Sunday vibes included #yoganidra yogic sleep - a powerful guided meditation which had unlimited restorative and rejuvenating properties.

“Yoga can help empower children, help them handle stresses, mood and anxieties and provide the space they need to cultivate self awareness, confidence and calm amid the steam of chaos,” says Marie. She’s right!
