Blimey, how is it nearly the end of August already?!
We’ve had just the best Wedding Season ever here at Happy Valley Norfolk, and today, we have the great pleasure of sharing these jaw-dropping images from Jocy & David’s stunning Wedding Celebrations in June, as beautifully photographed by Luis Holden.
The excited guests made their way through the woodland paths to Willow Island for a truly gorgeous ceremony, lovingly decorated by Floral Sistas and the couple themselves. While they waited, the couple’s loved ones were serenaded by one of their talented friends.
Ever the organised Bride, Jody made her way over to her Husband-to-be with her besties in tow, ahead of time, which meant there was plenty of time for this incredible shot of the girls walking through the Toad Hall fields.
The lovebirds beamed huge smiles at each other throughout their I-Dos. It was just the most romantic thing we’ve ever seen - the actual inability to hide your pure joy in front of the love of your life. We’re not sobbing, you are.
The newlyweds enjoyed a glorious Confetti Shot with just the cutest little pageboy, as they made their way back from their island wedding ceremony. The willows whispered beneath a yellow sun as the happy couple exchanged big cuddles with all their friends and family.
The couple then snuck away for some time alone together to enjoy their special moment, while their guests happily enjoyed a Prosecco and Canapé reception in the South-facing, sun-soaked Cattle Yard courtyard.
A huge surprise delighted guests as the sounds of live brass filled the air. This Bride and Groom wanted to make a fabulous, fun entrance as they rejoined their guests - and that they did!
This dynamic 6-piece collective, “Das Brass” really brought the funk to a sophisticated Summer’s Wedding Day. Everybody was soon whirling and twirling away, while the smiles never once left the J&D’s faces. Freckles Childcare were on had to take care of the couple’s little boy along with other children, so that everybody could really let loose and have the best time ever.
Next, it was time for dinner. One of our all-time favourites, Florentina Events, put on an incredible spread that really hit the spot. Service was impeccable as always, and the incredible decor just made for the most beautiful setting. Jocy and David did an incredible job alongside some fantastic suppliers - Quirk Events, Array Wedding and Event Hire, and Floral Sistas.
After dinner, it was time for the guests to have some more fun as Das Brass lead them out in a procession into The Old Courtyard for the couple’s First Dance and Mr & Mrs. David and Jocy spun each other to their heart’s content with billowing bunting and sparkling festoon lights hung (by Quirk Events) romantically overhead.
The guests then enjoyed some time chilling in beautiful outdoor lounge areas and boogying glittering disco balls in The Hay Barn (our very own wedding nightclub!)
While their guests were getting into the party spirit, J&D whisked each other away one more time, for some Golden Hour strolls. And once again, the incredible Norfolk skies did not disappoint.
The guests were absolutely danced off of their feet by Das Brass and their brilliant DJ, so they were very grateful when The Wood Fired Food Co. turned up with the goods to give everyone the scrumptious energy they needed to keep on dancing all night long, and our wonderful Happy Valley bar team kept the drinks flowing throughout the party.
