If you prefer the untouched wilderness vibe there is no need to add very much at all. Alternatively there’s an abundance of indoor and outdoor spaces where you can add your personal touches.

Set within nine acres of private woodland, Happy Valley Norfolk is a wedding venue designed for full weekend celebrations, where nature, atmosphere and thoughtful design come together. Couples choose Happy Valley for the experience it creates.
A ceremony beneath the trees, by the water, or within one of the barns, each setting intentionally part of the day, not a backup plan. From there, the celebration moves and evolves across the site, building from relaxed moments outdoors to a warm, high-energy evening.

A standard wedding at Happy Valley is designed as a full weekend experience, not a single space, and not a single moment. You have exclusive use of the entire site, allowing your day to unfold naturally across a series of carefully designed spaces. Your celebration can begin around the water, with drinks served from the pond bar, flowing out across the courtyard and surrounding grass, relaxed, open, and set within the landscape. For your meal, guests move into the Dutch Barn, a light-filled space with panoramic views across the water and weeping willow. Seating up to 165 guests, it’s designed for long tables, shared moments, and a dining experience that still feels connected to the outdoors. It can also be used as a ceremony space if needed, giving flexibility without compromise.
As the day shifts into evening, the atmosphere changes. Guests move through to the Haybarn and Marshall Bar, a more intimate, traditional barn with a log burner at its heart. Warmer, darker, and designed to hold energy, this is where the night builds.
Music lifts.
The space fills.
And the celebration properly begins.
This isn’t one room trying to do everything. It’s a wedding that evolves, from open and relaxed, to warm and full of energy.
Your bar offering is fully staffed throughout, moving seamlessly from the outdoor pond bar during the day to the Marshall Bar as the evening takes over. Everything is designed to flow. Nothing feels forced or makeshift.
The entire site is licensed, allowing you to hold your ceremony wherever feels right, beneath the trees, by the water, or within one of the barns, each setting intentionally part of the experience.
As part of your stay, three of our luxury glamping lodges are included, each with private, air-source heated hot tubs, including our accessible treehouse. Additional accommodation can be added for your guests, from shepherd’s huts to bell tents, with space for campers and motorhomes, allowing your closest people to stay and be part of the full weekend.
Happy Valley is a sustainable woodland venue, with hand-built cabins, treehouses and spaces that sit naturally within the landscape.
This isn’t about hiring a venue and filling it. It’s about choosing a place where your wedding moves, builds, and becomes something your guests remember long after the weekend ends.

Standard - Intimate Weddings of up to 50 guests for 2 day hire from £6995 with accomodation for 11 including 2 luxury cabins both with private hot tubs.
Peak season weekend Exclusive Hire to include 3 Luxury Cabins with private air source heated hot tubs to sleep 15 included in the price with more accomodation available - up to 165 guests from £11,595 - £13995 with Mid week options from £8995 - More guests can be accommodated in the Summer Months

FAQS -
Can you bring in external catering? YES, we love working with suppliers and have a list of recommended suppliers who you can use or you can bring in your own.
How long do you get to stay on site? Standard Wedding hire is from 10am on Friday morning until 12 noon on the Sunday, mid week is from Tuesday 12noon - Thursday 10am, we also offer bespoke one night stays if we have late availability. For weekend weddings you’re also welcome to book an extra night on site and leave Monday at 10am.
How many people can sleep on site? We can accommodate 25 guests in our winter months and more in the Summer, 4 of the accommodations have private air source heated hot tubs. From May through to the end of August Happy Valley can accommodate an extra 10 guests in our own Bell Tents which all have double beds - you’re welcome to add more bell tents on through external suppliers and you will be charged a pitch fee so numbers staying on site vary.
Can you bring your own booze? YES, for our mid week weddings we allow BYOB option with corkage. You will need Happy Valley staff to serve these to uphold the licensing objectives. You can also bring in your own drinks the day before and after any wedding date with no corkage if it’s on a weekend for private gatherings. Standard and Intimate weekend dates we ask that you use the Happy Valley bar which has a large selection of drinks and service, glass hire, service, clearing, washing etc is included.
Do you allow dogs? We LOVE dogs and welcome them on your Wedding day to Happy Valley. The cabins are allergen free so if you’d like them to stay over then we ask they go into our dog friendly tin tent or we have a wonderful lady in the village who can dog sit or chaperone to assist you on the day.
Can guests bring tents/campers/motorhomes/caravans? Yes your guests are welcome to bring their own tents etc. Please note you may need to bring in extra facilities if numbers exceed an extra 30 guests camping
Is there alternative accommodation locally? YES, there is a huge variety of local accommodation options within a 6 mile radius from luxury spa stays to b&bs, airbnbs and pub rooms.
Are you a Dry Hire Site? As we hold the events licences and provide the bar (for weekend weddings)we are not a typical dry hire site - however, we do allow you the freedom to decorate the site as you wish and bring in the suppliers you want to create the Wedding of your dreams. The venue has been developed so there is very little to add if you didn’t want to. The wilderness backdrop is all some couples want.
What’s included? Our standard package includes- 2 night stay with exclusive hire - The Dutch barn, The Hay Barn, The Marshall Bar, The Pond Bar, 2 courtyards, Event toilets, willow island, woodlands, Toad Hall treehouse with private hot tub (accessible) & Keepers cabin sleeps 5 with private hot tub, Moonshine Manor sleep 4 with a private hot tub - more accommodation can be added on. Car park for up to 100 cars. Tables and Chairs for up to 100 guests (select dates only). Festoon lighting throughout the site - draping in the dutch barn.
Can you get legally married on site? YES, our whole site is licensed so you are able to get married outside or in the barns on site. The choice is yours and you can change your mind depending on the weather - there’s options for all weathers.
Woodland Ceremony
With 9 acres of space to play with, you are sure to find the perfect spot to say ‘I do’. Whether it’s a woodland ceremony, Island celebration or one of the open glades or in one of the undercover areas, there’s something for everyone.
We are a duo licensed premise so you have the option of an indoor or outdoor ceremony.

For those looking for a more informal setting, this is the ideal spot for a family picnic or relaxing drinks reception.
Extended Celebrations
All of our weddings come with some accommodation included. A mix of bell tents, shepherd huts and Toad Hall our luxury treehouse with private hot tub plus glamping cabins are available to you and your guests.

Most of our packages span across two nights and three days - plenty of time to sit back and enjoy the celebrations with friends and family.
Two Spacious Barns
The Hay Barn and the Dutch Barn sit side by side. The Hay Barn is the smaller of the two and is the perfect size for intimate weddings or as the go-to nightclub spot for evening entertainment. Whatever the weather there is plenty of indoor options.
The Dutch Barn is the larger of the two and has beautiful panoramic views of the lake and Willow Island. It’s a great space for the wedding day breakfast, the pond bar is at the ready and there’s plenty of space to have a seated meal. The barn backs on to a great outside area perfect for drinks receptions, lawn games or whatever else you can think of…!
